I was very excited to first find this site, I'm a master mechanic with over 45 years experience. I was under the impression the manual was to be a concise shop manual, what was delivered to me was a general information text with some details within the electrical areas that can be of help but everything I was in need of is not contained - Torque specifications, cam timing, engine to injector pump timming, valve spring tension values, transmission specfications, differential gear set up data to just name a few was not contained. I AM VERY DISSAPOINTED to say the least, if I had been able to preview the CD I would have not made the purchase -

Mercedes-Benz manual |

I requested the manual to use it mostly for 560SEL 1990. Must of the description corresponding to 1986-1987. I thought it is same the original one. then I found the fallowing:
-It is only scanned pages.
-Can't make search.
-Some pages are missing.
-Some chapters are not complete.

Basically OK. The HTM/PDF format works well.....but some things seem to be left out (headlight adjustment ? +++) or I just can't find them ...sections referred to but aren't there (general index?). In my professional mechanic years I spent a thousand (at least) on factory and private manuals .....so $40.00 is fair....but I am somewhat disappointed but better off than jumping in blind. So....Thanks.

I like it overall and it's already helped me service my own car. I've worked on cars all my life, just not mercedes. Sometimes it's hard to follow and the pictures are confusing on some of the subjects. In general though it's good and I used it to rebuild my driveline. It saved me a lot more than it cost.
