I found this series of factory manuals very helpful for performing routine maintenance on my 1982 Mercedes 300D. The wiring schematics are especially helpful. The only reason I do not score 5 stars is relativley poor quality of the illustrations. It is difficult to see what you are looking at, especially if you are not familiar with the system.

After looking at the Chilton's and Hayne's manuals, I must say I'm very impressed by these manuals. They are pretty technical, but they do a great job covering all the details on my 300D. The quality of the text isn't the greatest, because they appear to be scanned documents, but it covers a lot. I'd recommend these disks for people who are frustrated with the other manuals that don't really contain much of anything.

I was under the impression that I was to recieve a book and was not sure about the CD, the CD is not bad but I have had to print hundreds of pages and have a long way to go to make a hard paper copy to work with. You would better serve customers with the option of book or CD, I needed a book.
