The GPS 18 Deluxe by Garmin is a full-featured navigation
system for your Laptop. The Garmin GPS 18 Deluxe Comes with the new
Garmin nRoute software that includes Mapsource City Navigator street
data on DVD. The City Navigator software contains detailed maps for the
United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. City Navigator map detail
includes highways, interstates, business and residential roads, with
turn restrictions, speed categories, and other navigation features. It
also features more than five million points of interest including
restaurants, lodging, attractions, shopping, emergency services, post
offices, and more. The Garmin nRoute software will calculate turn by
turn directions to any address, intersection, or point of interest
within the City Navigator database. Just enter you destination into the
nRoute software and let the voice prompts(Female Voice) take you there
safely.
The GPS 18 Deluxe includes a 12 parallel channel,
WAAS-enabled sensor, with a USB connection with a 6' foot cable. The
receiver includes an integrated magnetic base and is less than three
inches in diameter. The GPS 18 is powered through the laptop's USB port
with a USB 2.0 full-speed interface (also compatible with USB 1.1 Full
Speed hosts).

to allow the GPS 18 USB to communicate with other NMEA 0183 software
programs. PC System Requirements: IBM-Compatible,
Windows 98, ME, 2000 or XP operating system, Minimum 32 MB of RAM, and
500MB to 2 Gigabytes of free hard drive space.
